A former miner then factory worker Stephen received "0 points" after his first incapacity assessment from Atos. This meant he was considered perfectly fit for work. After launching an appeal he was later given "17 points" by the tribunal. At a later assessment from Atos he was declared fit for work again. Stephen died three weeks later from a heart attack.
