Emiliano, wearing full protective clothing, sprays strawberries with pesticides during a training exercise aimed at helping local farmers make good and safe use of agrochemical products. Emiliano Dominguez, 33, is a strawberry, beans and potato farmer in western Honduras. The father of three joined the USAID ACCESO project in 2013. Since then Emiliano has witnessed a significant increase in his crop production. Strawberry farming has been particularly profitable. In the three years since Emiliano joined the CropLife funded program, he has been able to buy more land, a truck to deliver his products, build a modern house with running water and electricity, and buy a television with a satellite dish. Emiliano is optimistic about the future and proud to be able to give his children the childhood and education he didn't get. Guice, Intibucá, Honduras.
